HEALTH SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES IN LAMBETH
A range of community health provision is provided across the borough to deliver services to children and young people with an additional need or disability and to their families and carers.
Health services are working to:
- improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people
- reduce health inequalities and
- ensure that everyone has equal access to healthcare services across the borough.
Health services work in close partnership with education, social care and families.
The Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group oversees the coordination of various health services and the support for children and young people with a special need or disability.
